The property and location are ideal for a young family or couples (with or without a dog) looking for good quality accommodation within quick, easy access of the village, and only a short drive to the Start Bay coastline and beaches. Location The cottage is in the very heart of Stoke Fleming, with the village pub, shop and popular restaurant just a short walk away. The famous naval town of Dartmouth, with its array of boutiques, galleries, restaurants and tea rooms, and picturesque river (Dart) are just a few minute's drive. In addition, Woodlands Theme Park and Dartmouth Golf and Country Club are only 3-4 miles from the cottage.
ENTRANCE Directly off Chapel Lane (a narrow/quiet cul-de-sac offering single track access to a small number of cottages) ' the main entrance leads into a small lobby area off which are the kitchen, sitting room and CLOAKROOM with w.c. and basin
SITTING ROOM A cosy living area has a feature fireplace with electric stove, and is furnished with two contemporary three-seater sofas, TV, DVD player, and coffee table. Stairs lead up from the sitting room to the first floor bedrooms and bathroom, whilst a glass door offers access to the garden room.
KITCHEN A well equipped kitchen has a range of fitted units, four ring halogen hob and electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and radio with iPod dock. Stairs lead down to a UTILITY ROOM which houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and sink.
DINING/GARDEN ROOM A spacious, light and sunny area with wood laminate flooring, white wooden dining table, six Eames-style chairs, two armchairs and doors out to a decked balcony with steps down to the South-facing courtyard garden.
BEDROOMS Three in total. A good sized master bedroom suite (on the top floor) has a super-King size bed, bedside units, drawers and chair. The en suite shower room has a shower cubicle, w.c., wash-hand basin and heated towel rail. A second double room (on the first floor) has a King-size bed, narrow bedside units, drawers and chair, whilst a twin room at the same level has two wooden framed single beds and drawers. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels (excluding beach towels) are supplied.
BATH/SHOWER ROOMS In addition to the en suite (above) is a mostly-tiled family bathroom on the first floor with bath, shower (over), hand-held shower, wash-hand basin and w.c.
OUTSIDE To the rear of the cottage is a spacious, enclosed patio area with table, chairs and barbecue.
PARKING Off road parking is available in the village nearby. Temporary access for unloading/loading directly outside the cottage.
OTHER INFORMATION Electric boiler for central heating and hot water. Wireless broadband internet available but mobile coverage is variable and network dependant. Strictly no smoking but one well behaved dog is permitted.
