The beaches at Parrog, Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod are just a few minutes away and the Coastal Path is easily accessed from this cottage.
Newport has a good selection of pubs, village stores, restaurants and a golf club. The “Walkers Bus” and regular service bus can be caught at the end of the lane.
There are riding stables at the next farm which offer rides over the mountains and to the coast.
Fresh hot bread, cakes and “ready meals” are available daily from the owner's daughter in law.
Ground Floor
Entrance into spacious open-plan kitchen/dining room which has a tiled floor and enjoys superb sea views.
The kitchen area is fitted with a range of units, incorporating an electric hob and oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, automatic washing machine and coffee maker.
The dining area has a sea view and is furnished with a Welsh dresser, large farmhouse table and 10 chairs.
The spacious sitting room has a tiled floor with rugs, a high open beamed ceiling, exposed stone walls, comfortable seating for 10, colour TV, video, DVD, Hi Fi system and items of occasional furniture.
There are 4 bedrooms, 3 are downstairs and one upstairs.
bedroom 1 has superb sea views, a kingsize bed, pine wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers, patio doors lead from the bedroom to the patio area.
bedroom 2 has an open beam ceiling and is furnished with a pine kingsize bed, wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers.
bedroom 3 has open beams, a set of 3' bunk beds, chest of drawers and pine wardrobe.
The family bathroom is downstairs and has a bath with electric shower over, WC and wash hand basin.
There is also a shower room with a shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin.
First Floor
bedroom 4 is upstairs and has limited headroom, velux windows provide lovely sea views and is furnished with four 3' single beds, bedside tables, chest of drawers and clothes hanging space.
All the beds have duvets and will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
Garden and Parking
There is a lawn area to the fore of the cottage which enjoys superb sea views over Newport Bay and is an ideal place to watch the sunset. Garden furniture is provided.
There is ample parking adjacent to the cottage with more available nearby.

Full oil fired central heating and electricity will be charged for according to use. Please leave your payment at the property.
A cot, highchair and stairgate are available, please request when booking.

Up to two pets are welcome, but restricted to the tiled areas.
Small party discount – Outside school holiday weeks, this property offers a £100 to £150 discount for the months of October and May and £200 discount for the months of June and September when 6 or less guests are staying and using downstairs bedrooms only, please ask when booking.
