Property Description
This three bedroomed mid-terraced cottage enjoys an enviable position in the quiet hamlet of Ennerdale Bridge. The lounge has a wood burning stove and there is a separate dining room. To the front of the property is a small enclosed garden and at the rear is a good sized garden backing onto the River Ehen. This is the perfect location for visiting the Lakes and its surrounding areas, not far from Lake Ennerdale and close to many of the fells. S44468 is set in the small hamlet of Ennerdale Bridge which lies at the confluence of Croasdale Beck and the River Ehen and borders the National Park. You can visit St Bees or Ravenglass which hosts a seven mile long miniature railway which travels to Boot just at the tip of the Rhinos Pass. Muncaster Castle is near Ravenglass and is certainly worth a visit with its Himalayan gardens, hawk and owl centre, maze, cafe and gift shop. After a busy day enjoying yourselves, you can come back to S44468, lay the fire and sit back and enjoy your favourite tipple or, on a perfect sunny evening, sit out in the garden and relax.
