The family-run and allegedly haunted Derwentwater Arms sits overlooking the village and cricket field the perfect spot to enjoy a pub lunch. The property is entered through the pretty stone wall and iron front fence into the dining hall. With stone flagged floors and an original decorative fireplace with traditional gritstone surround this is a suitably grand venue in which to enjoy your evening meals. Beyond the dining room the newly refurbished kitchen is fitted with a Rayburn Range Cooker and stocked with everything you should need throughout your stay. On sunny evenings guests can enjoy an al fresco meal in the private courtyard located through the kitchen. Once you ve finished your meals head to the sitting room to relax next to the log burning stove in one of the many sofas under the beamed ceiling. A double bedroom with its own en suite shower room is also located on this floor while the three remaining bedrooms can be found upstairs. The master bedroom features a super king size double bed with an en suite shower room plus an adjoining room with twin beds perfect for small children. The final bedroom which has access to the family bathroom also has twin beds and enjoys views to the neighbouring hills.
