This property enjoys a lovely countryside location in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within walking distance of the village of Goodrich and its striking Norman castle which is maintained by English Heritage. There is plenty to see and do in the area including the Symonds Yat West Leisure Park the Forest of Dean and the romantic ruins of Wilton Castle. For those who like to explore local towns whilst on holiday Ross-on-Wye Hereford and Gloucester are all within easy driving distance. This three-storey property has many attractive original features which makes it an interesting and unusual place to stay. On entering the property guests are met with the hallway off from which they will find the master bedroom with its double bed and beamed ceiling. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. Taking the stairs to the first-floor accommodation guests will find the inviting lounge an attractive room with exposed stone walls a comfy corner sofa and a TV/DVD. The kitchen/diner meanwhile is equipped with a dining table electric oven hob microwave and fridge/freezer. Guests who need to do washing during their stay can use the handy on-site laundry room which is available to all guests. Another set of stairs leads to the mezzanine floor where a single bedroom overlooks the living space below and also offers views to Goodrich Castle through the skylight window. Outside there are spacious shared gardens which are mainly set to lawn where guests can relax and perhaps enjoy a picnic using the garden furniture provided.
