The kitchen has an electric oven with a hob, microwave and fridge, dining table and chairs, sofa (this will convert into a good quality sofa bed), TV with DVD and Freeview. Patio doors lead out to a decked area with garden furniture, a pretty garden and fabulous views down the valley. Just down the lane in village to the village pub Seven Stars which also serves food.

Bedroom 1: The comfortable bedroom has a good quality new super king sized bed that can also become 3ft twin beds.

The cottage is set in a most amazing remote and rural location beside the owner's farmstead and stables, high up on the hillside that leads onto Aberedw Common. On the other side of the valley walks will take you up onto Llandeilo Hill which in turn leads over to The Begwyns. On the farmstead there are horses, dogs and poultry. There are the most fantastic views from this valley and the riding is second to none with walks straight from the door. The mountain biking is excellent and for keen walkers there are miles of uninterrupted hill walking right from the door.

Llangoed Hall at Llyswen has won The Conde Naste Best Restaurant and AA 4* Hotel of the Year. Builth Wells is 6 miles, so ideal for the many events held at The Royal Welsh Showground. Llandrindod Wells 14 miles and Brecon 23 miles, for the Brecon Beacons and Hay-on-Wye 14 miles, for the world famous book centre and bohemian town.
