Tasteful décor, open plan living and dining, a wood burner for chilly nights and a terrace with garden for warmer nights makes Duck Lodge a great Kent getaway. It’s modern, inviting and has been newly refurbished. Light pours into the lodge via multiple French doors, all opening onto the terrace offering uninterrupted and beautiful country views.
Superbly located for extensive country walks any time of the year and visits to wonderful Penshurst Place & Gardens and Chiddingstone Castle & Gardens, both within 2 miles of the Lodge. Nearby popular country pubs are ideal for an evening drink or a cooked meal too. Watch for sightings of pheasants, rabbits, owls from the house and you might even spot a rare white deer in the field. You can bring your dogs too, but just keep in mind, no duck for dinner so keep your dog on the lead please.
