There are delightful shops, restaurants, pubs and gardens to discover. Sir Walter Scott's Abbotsford House is nearby on the River Tweed. Galashiels has excellent shopping facilities and a railway link to Edinburgh Waverley station. Shop, pub and restaurant 5¼ miles.
