The nearby town of Dolgellau is a superb base for a holiday with relaxing days out on the sandy beaches of Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberdovey. Dolgellau offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there are excellent restaurants in many of the nearby coastal resorts.
