Wroxham, which is known as The Capital of the Broads, is just over 5 miles and here you can hire boats and explore the waterways. The coast is just short drive away. There are National Trust properties in the region which are well worth visiting or alternatively, spend a day in the fine city of Norwich, with its castle, cathedrals, museums, theatres and an excellent array of shops and cafes.
