Property Description

S44849 is situated in the heart of this coastal village and within approximately half a mile's level walk to the wide pebble beach and sea. The house is situated down a private no through road at the end of which starts the level footpath that leads to the beach. The footpath itself is a delightful walk through the fields and alongside a stream before reaching the extensive pebble beach with rock pools, car park, delightful tearooms and a shop. It is an ideal holiday venue for families with small children.

Branscombe is a delightful village with two popular public houses, the Masons Arms and the Fountain Head both serving excellent food. The Old Bakery tea house and gardens are only a 10 minute stroll. There is an ancient parish church that dates back to the 11th century, three National Trust properties, the Old Bakery, the Manor Mill and the Old Forge, and a post office/convenience store.
Branscombe is undoubtedly one of East Devon's most sought after coastal villages, situated just inland from the Jurassic Coast, the World Heritage Coastline along Lyme Bay and nestling amongst some of East Devon's most glorious countryside, much of which is owned by the National Trust and designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
