Coastguard Lookout is a warm and welcoming place converted by renowned interior architecture firm Johnson Naylor who retained the original 50’s structure whilst cleverly transforming the interior using the highest quality fittings and materials, crafted so that it sensitively retains echoes of it’s former function overlooking the Channel. Built originally as a HM Coastguard radar monitoring station for shipping in the Channel, when this role was no longer needed with the advent of GPS, the building was converted as a studio and weekend home for a growing family, into this contemporary home, the perfect location for a holiday away from the routine and stress of modern life.
