Property Description
EAST PORTLEMOUTH, SOUTH DEVON
This outstandingly beautiful classic detached and predominantly thatched cottage is situated beside the creek at S58255 , a lovely hamlet on the edge of the Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary. It is approximately one mile from the village of East Portlemouth, with ferry to Salcombe, in an idyllic location within two acres of unspoilt, partly wooded grounds. The garden borders the stream that runs into the creek and has areas of lawn with shrubs and an attractive pond. The cottage is as pretty inside as out, the owner having gone to great lengths to make this an extremely comfortable home, with good quality carpets and furnishings, yet retaining all the olde worlde charm, with exposed beams, old fireplaces and stripped pine doors.
