Visitors are welcome to take a trip along the Moray Firth coastline, which has recently been voted amongst the top 20 in the 'world's best coastal destinations'. Moray Firth also offers many unspoilt beaches and quaint fishing villages dotted along the coast.
Visit Cawdor and Brodie Castles, Culloden Battlefield, Inverness, the Highland Capital and Loch Ness, or take a trip along the Malt Whisky Trail, which is the only one of its kind in the world. Further afield you can visit the stunning scenery of the west coast and the Isle of Skye, Fort William, which is known as the outdoor capital of the UK, or you can even take a day trip to the beautiful Orkney Islands. For the less energetic, why not take a stroll along the sweeping sands of Nairn and Whitemills beaches and perhaps catch sight of the Moray Firth's famous bottlenose dolphins. Beach 500 yards.
