These single-storey holiday cottages (refs W43471 and UKC1020) sit within the pretty village of Helhoughton, adjacent to the owner's home. They provide a cosy and relaxing holiday base for couples looking to unwind and explore the area. Coast lovers will be spoilt for choice, discover Wells-next-the-Sea, with its picturesque quay, narrow gauge railway and quaint mix of artisan and traditional seaside cafés and shops, Blakeney, where you can enjoy the traditional pursuit of crabbing or take a boat trip to see the seals, and numerous other coastal villages are all within easy reach. Plus, for all the fun of the fair, a Sea Life Centre, amusements and a beach that seems to literally stretch out forever, head to Hunstanton. Culture vultures will love the area's wealth of stately homes and National Trust properties, including Holkham Hall and the Sandringham Estate. A little further afield, but well worth a visit, lie the Norfolk Broads where you can join an organised boat trip or even charter your own day launch to explore the waterways. Norwich, with its Norman castle, numerous museums and great shopping and eating opportunities, and Kings Lynn with its historical quarter are also well worth a visit. With the Thursford Collection nearby and fishing lakes, cycle routes, great walks and numerous bird watching opportunities, you will be spoilt for choice. Beach 13 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
