Although the area is well known for the nearby sandy beaches at Camber, the appeal of the local beaches at Pett Level are the rock pools, fossils, the mysterious 6, 000 year old sunken forest which can be seen sometimes when the tide is out and the most intrepid explorers may even find the dinosaur foot prints!
