Just over a mile from the spectacular coastal path and the sea, this cottage situated opposite the secluded medieval church in the delightful hamlet of Granston makes an ideal base for couples and small families.

This stretch of coastline has magnificent cliffs and the Strumble Shuttle coastal path walkers bus can be flagged down outside the cottage. Wildlife abounds, including seabirds, seals, beautiful spring flowers and wild ponies.

St David's, with its medieval cathedral, is nearby, as is Fishguard, with its harbour and weekly farmers' market; both offer excellent shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants.

Close by are beaches of Abermawr, excellent for surfing, and the more sheltered cove of Aberbach, as well as Tregwynt Woollen Mill, Strumble Head lighthouse, and Mathry with its cafe and friendly pub.

This light and welcoming traditional cottage is comfortably furnished making it a real home from home with its art work, antique country furniture, books and music.

Entrance to hallway and through to the sitting room with open fire, 2 comfortable sofas, occasional tables, TV, DVD and a stereo with a large selection of books and CDs (mostly classical) to enjoy.

The dining room also has an open fire and is furnished with a dining table and 6 chairs, sideboard with board games, table/desk and radio.

The simple kitchen has a cooker, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher.

The utility room has a washing machine and space for walking boots and coats.

There is a cloakroom with WC and hand basin.

Stairs lead from the hallway to the bedrooms, both of which have views over farmland.

The master bedroom has a double bed, bedside tables with lamps, table with mirror, cheval mirror, wardrobe and chairs.

The second bedroom has twin beds, bedside table with lamp, chest of drawers, dressing table, stool and a fitted wardrobe.

The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over, WC and hand basin.

Garden and Parking

Parking for 2 cars.

The enclosed rear garden is mainly laid to lawn, with mature trees and a fence making it sheltered, it has a bench, table and chairs where you can enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer evening.

There are night storage & other electric heaters.

Electricity is included from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £30 per week from October to April. Please leave your payment at the property.

There are 2 open fires. A starter pack is provided.

Beds will be made up with fresh linen and towels are available to hire at £5 per guest.

A travel cot and highchair are provided.

There is a telephone for incoming calls.

WiFi enabled.

1 dog welcome but must remain downstairs.
