The nearby market town of Bridport has a wealth of interesting shops selling local produce and antiques and both the Georgian town of Weymouth and the historic town of Lyme Regis with their sandy beaches are only a lazy drive away. The nearby Jurassic coastline offers a delight for fossil hunters and spectacular view points all along this special part of England, with the closest beaches being West Bay, with it's iconic golden cliffs, Burton Bradstock and West Bexington, all are under 30 minutes by car.
