The stunning Pentire Peninsula, a craggy outcrop of rock that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean, has the stunning Fistral Beach to one side and the Gannel Estuary, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to the other. This means you are never far from the water when staying at S83034, a stunning architect-designed apartment block so close to Fistral Beach that you really can get from bed to beach in under 3 minutes.

Pentire is an excellent location with the town nearby, but separated by a golf course which you can walk to from the apartment. Newquay Golf Club, a links course overlooking the beach and the dunes, is a treat. At the end of the peninsula is a pub with a view if there ever was one – a large sun deck overlooks the sea and coastline with stunning sunsets not to be missed at any cost – the food and beers are local and the view outstanding. The area has several bars, mainly in hotels, but all good and the Fistral Beach Hotel has a great spa and bar looking out to sea. The surf is legendary, with hire available and private tuition offered to guests staying at S83034 which can be booked before you arrive by direct arrangement with the owner. There is also the option to cycle the Camel Trail which meanders along the shore of the Camel Estuary from Padstow on the coast, inland to the market town of Wadebridge, and on to the moors around Bodmin. Discounted cycle hire is also available to guests staying at S83034.
Newquay has beaches and nightlife galore, but the Pentire Headland feels that little bit different – a quiet spot but close enough to enjoy the town and all it provides. The perfect evening would be to stroll over the road onto the beach, continue along the sand to the Fistral Beach bar or enjoy a pizza in the restaurant with views, or fish and chips from Rick Stein's chip shop – you really are spoilt for choice.
The Gannel Estuary to the west is a haven for wading birds and the perfect spot to indulge in stand-up paddle boarding followed by a picnic on the shore. Newquay is reasonably central in Cornwall, and the south coast and west and eastern points can be reached quite easily, making the area perfect for touring this unique county. Truro, Fowey, Padstow, St Ives and Falmouth, all great locations, are easily reached. Beach 300 yards. Shops 200 yards, pubs and restaurants 500 yards.
