If you enjoy walking, then this is the place for you. Directly from the front door, there are woodland pathways and country lanes. From Llangrannog, you can join the Ceredigion Coastal Path; 63 miles to enjoy spotting the wildlife, dolphins and seals, as well as pretty wildflowers. Whatever the time of year, Llangrannog itself will charm you with its sandy beach, little shops, pubs and cafés.
Ceredigion, dating back over 1600 years, and the Heritage Coastline is a distinctive Welsh region with a thriving cultural identity, and the perfect area for a holiday, with award-winning sandy beaches, coves (many are dog friendly all year round) and cliffs.
Visit the picture postcard coves at Penbryn, Tresaith, Aberporth and Cwmtydu, or the colourful Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron, with chic shopping and restaurants. Also visit quaint New Quay, once home to poet Dylan Thomas, and from where you can take a boat trip, and Cardigan, a lively traditional town with a castle, situated on the Teifi Estuary. Finally, Aberystwyth is a must, with pier and promenade, electric cliff railway, steam train to Devil's Bridge and waterfalls.
