You can be on the beach front at famous West Bay, 2 miles away, scene of the TV series 'Broadchurch', with its wonderful character harbour, where you can soak up the seaside atmosphere, enjoy some fish and chips, or enjoy boating activities and superb scenic coastal walking along the Jurassic Coast. Inland, you can sample local wine at Salway Ash, visit Mapperton House and Gardens and Forde Abbey and Gardens, or wander on to the county town of Dorchester. Also worth visiting are the seaside resorts of Weymouth and Lyme Regis. There is a wealth of wonderful attractions and countryside in this great part of Dorset to enjoy. Beach 2 miles.
