There you can change onto the Welsh Highland Railway for a breathtaking journey deep into the Snowdonia National Park and on to Caernarfon with its magnificent castle.

The town is also home to one of the area's most exciting visitor attractions, Zip World Titan, the first four-person zip wire in Europe! Visit Zip World Caverns and Bounce Below (trampolines in the slate caverns), or take an underground tour of the former slate mining caverns. Also based at Llechwedd are the mountain bike trails of Antur Stiniog, which range from blue to black grades.
