Only 20 minutes’ drive away lies the quirky fishing town of Hastings. Steeped in history there a multiple events occurring throughout the year from the carnival in April, to food festivals, national pirate day and exhibitions at the Jerwood Gallery. Bexhill itself houses the impressive De La Warr Pavilion which holds comedy and music nights, workshops for adults and children, lectures and cinema screenings. A perfect way to catch up with art and culture! Further afield, take a trip into the country and visit the pretty historic town of Battle where you can have coffee and cake on the quaint High Street near the impressive Battle Abbey.
