The area of Purbeck has a special beauty with sweeping headlands, steeply ridged hills, heathland areas and coastline. Studland which is close by has a famous National Trust owned sandy beach which is approached via unspoilt scenery. You may take your car by the Studland chain ferry to Poole which is a special thrill for children. The village of Corfe Castle offers special gift and craft shops, several up market eating houses and coffee shops with cream teas. Much of the area is in the ownership of the Natural Trust and is designated as an area of outstanding beauty. Although the property fronts the main Wareham to Swanage road, secondary double glazing has been installed to minimise any road noise.
