Situated close to Pwllderi – one of the most beautiful stretches of the Pembrokeshire coastline on Strumble Head, this delightful Five Star holiday cottage is makes a perfect holiday base for two (plus one child) in the National Park.
A bridle/footpath leads you from the cottage to the coastal path and there are numerous beaches and coves including Abermawr along this stretch of the coastline. All within a half hour drive of the cottage areSt Davids, Solva, Newgale, Newport, Porthgain, Abereiddy and Whitesands.
Strumble Head Lighthouse is about a mile away and is a great place to spot migrating and native birds and for dolphin and seal watching.
Goodwick and Fishguard have a good selection of individual shops, galleries and eateries.
Ground Floor
Entrance is into the spacious open plan sitting and dining room which has a huge inglenook fireplace large enough to sit in! The room has a slate floor, open beamed ceiling (with the original ham hooks) and a woodburning stove to toast your toes in front of after a days walking.
The sitting area has a comfortable leather sofa, coffee table, TV, DVD, books and games.
The dining area has an antique dining table and 4 chairs.
The well equipped kitchen is fully fitted with a range of Shaker style units, an electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a microwave oven.
The spacious bathroom is downstairs and has a white suite of bath, separate shower cubicle, WC and wash hand basin.
First Floor
Upstairs is the fabulously romantic bedroom with high sloped ceilings, exposed rafters and the huge chimney breast behind the bed.
The bed will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival and bed linen and towels are included in the rental. (Please bring your own beach towels).
Garden and Parking
There is a small sheltered garden area to the rear and a patio area with a table and chairs, ideal for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
Parking space for two cars.
Other Information
There is underfloor heating and a woodburning stove. Electricity and oil is included from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £25 at all other times. Please leave your payment at the property. A complimentary basket of logs is provided for the start of your holiday and more may be purchased locally.
A standard cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.
Towels are included in the rental.
Wifi enabled.
Up to two well behaved pets are welcome but must be kept under control as the property is surrounded by farmland with grazing animals.
No smoking in the cottage.
