Old Windsor is a large village adjoining the River Thames in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. It includes within its boundaries most of Windsor Great Park, parts of which are open for public enjoyment including The Savill Garden, Virginia Water, The Valley Gardens and the Long Walk and Deer Park. There are a number of good pubs nearby serving excellent food, and on the outskirts of the village is the Windsor Farm Shop, stocking a range of products from the Royal Farms and small local specialist suppliers.
