Buxworth is a pretty little village on the borders of North West Derbyshire and Cheshire, an area known as the High Peak, near the Derbyshire Peak District. Buxworth leads towards the lovely Bugsworth Basin, which is home to the canal with tow path, a cycle path, and there is also a wonderful village pub. Some excellent walks and cycle trails are on the doorstep, and close by is the town of New Mills with the Torrs Riverside Park – a place for recreation and relaxation.
