With beautiful sunset views and plenty of outdoor space, this charming beamed, detached cottage part of which dates back to the 18th-century is set amongst open countryside in Longwitton, a hamlet of approximately 12 houses, but only a few miles from some pretty market towns and friendly villages. Morpeth town being a 20 minute drive. The accommodation with two wood burner's, is mainly all ground floor level with the first floor bedroom being perfect for the younger family members. A great location for reaching all of the county and only 6 miles from the National Trust's Wallington Hall. The cottage is an ideal location from which to explore the many visitor attractions, all within easy driving distance. Alnwick Castle is 21 miles away, makes a great day out for all ages (seasonal) and featured in the Harry Potter films and Downton Abbey. Rothbury is only 11 miles with a nice selection of shops, pubs and cafés, and the long sandy beach at Druridge Bay is 20 miles. The small village of Longhorsley is 6 miles away and has a village shop and pub. The pretty and historic town of Morpeth is only 10 miles with plenty of pubs and shops as well as a swimming pool and riverside walks.

Stables are available on-site and extra dogs can be brought but must be kept in the dog kennel which has a purpose built, wrought iron dog run and can be arranged directly with the owner. The house itself is only suitable for two dogs. The first floor, if required, is reached by a steep, narrow stairway and has a double bed, single bed and a single sofa bed with a 22'' Freeview TV, a great area for the younger members of the family to escape to. Beach 20 miles. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
