Historic Wexford town is well worth the 15 minutes' drive, and day trips to Dublin are easily made without taking the car via the Rosslare Europort to Dublin train. Visit the Wexford Wildfowl Reserve, Irish Agricultural Museum, Johnstown Castle or one of south Wexford's picturesque fishing villages such as the thatched village of Kilmore Quay, all within a short drive from this wonderful holiday base.
