Newport offers a plethora of independent shops and eateries, whilst Telford has an indoor shopping area with over 150 shops and cafés. Wellington, hosting one of the oldest markets, is also worth a visit, and Wrekin Hill is a comfortable walk away. Kayaking, canoeing, cycling, walking, gliding, golf, fishing and horse racing are all available, whilst places to visit include castles, abbeys, working farms and museums, discovery centres, gardens, parks and historic houses.
