Facing Valletta and Fort Sant’Angelo, the Grand Harbour Vista offers what is probably the best view in Malta.
A bright and airy apartment that faces Valletta and Fort St. Angelo, in one of the most historically significant harbours in the Mediterranean.
This apartment boasts a large balcony with full views of the Grand Harbour where you can watch the many yachts, sailboats, cruise ships and other activities while enjoying your breakfast or a glass of wine.
Totally renovated in May 2016, the apartment combines tradition (it is located in the famous “Three cities”) and modernity. Just a stone’s throw away from Valletta by ferry or a traditional boat taxi called a Dghajsa (die-sa), from here you can visit the most historical parts of Malta and other locations of interest.
We have created a light and airy apartment decorated with local art, which includes all of the modern conveniences one needs during a holiday. We of course provide towels and linens, some bath amenities, cookware and an open floor plan to help make your stay relaxed and unencumbered .
Senglea, also known by its title Città Invicta (or Civitas Invicta), is a fortified city in the South Eastern Region of Malta. It is one of the Three Cities, the other two being Cospicua and Vittoriosa, and has a population of slightly below three thousand people. The city’s title Città Invicta was given because it managed to resist the Ottoman invasion at the Great Siege of Malta in 1565. The name is Senglea since the Grandmaster, who built it, Claude de la Sengle, gave this city a part of his name.
Today, Senglea is going through somewhat of a renaissance as tourists and locals alike seek a more genuine holiday that combines authenticity with comfort. Here you’ll find the local regatta teams practicing their rowing skills, the artists painting the colours of the village life, the local flea market on Sunday and food market on Tuesday and of course fireworks during the many festas celebrated during the year.
