Property Description
The apartment is on the first floor of a building that was rebuilt on the original stonewalls that remained after WWII. There`s a balcony to sit on (including a small grill), a free wi-fi for planning your outings and Apple TV for your entertainment. There is also a record player, records, cds, dvds, a radio…
We bought and completely remodeled the place in 2016, so everything is new. The building itself has five floors with one or two apartments each. There is a washing-machine and drier at your disposal. The house is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Blinds in the bedroom make sure that the light from the streetlamp is blocked out at night.
Public parking space is available. The neighborhood is typical of the entire Ruhr area, all buildings are post-war and there`s an international mix of people.
“Das Oberstübchen” is half-way between Oberhausen main station and CentrO. Both are a 15-minute walk away. If that seems far, you can take the tram in both directions, that`s five minutes from our doorstep. A grocery store, bank and bakery are 900m away on Falkenstein/Liebknechtstr., you can use our shopping cart.
