As the area offer the most possibility to reach the Mt Triglav – 2864 m (the highest mountain in Slovenia), is without doubt the best starting point for hiking trips in the Julian Alps and Karavanke, including Triglav.
Hiking trails and bicycle paths can be explored in the immediate vicinity. An rocky and ice-climbing wall is also close by. Skiing lovers can explore the slopes in Kranjska Gora and beginners as well as children can benefit from the easier slopes in Mojstrana and an open skating rink.
