Price - £30.00|2 People|

Description

Step behind the scenes of the hit BBC series Call The Midwife, guided through the area’s history by your very own ‘midwife’, and picture the Historic Dockyard Chatham transformed into 1950s London Poplar Dock with this Call the Midwife Tour at The Historic Dockyard Chatham for Two.

There’s over 400 years of history to be discovered at the Historic Dockyard Chatham, through exhibitions like Command of the Oceans, the Victorian Ropery and the RNLI Historic Lifeboat Collection as well as the three mighty warships HMS Gannet, HMS Cavalier and HMS Ocelot: a sloop, destroyer and submarine respectively. You’ll be free to walk around all day, but it’s from the HMS Cavalier that your tour will start, featuring lots of behind-the-scenes stories across several filming locations from the famous BBC show.

You’ll have access to all of the exhibitions on the day, so there are loads of things to see and do in addition to your tour. Explore the country’s naval history and find out about some of the dockyard’s silver screen appearances – perfect for massive Call the Midwife fans.
