Description
Take off from Aintree in a mighty Jet Ranger Bell 206 or Robinson R44 helicopter and prepare for a comfortable, scenic ride that offers a really unique view of these historic cities. Head over the Mersey, looking out for boats and ferries, and gaze in awe at the Pier head buildings known as the 'Three Graces'. Then on to Chester, a Roman city founded in 79 AD and still surrounded by some of the best-preserved fortifications and ancient city walls in Britain; many historians think the Romans intended Chester to be the capital of Britain! Look out for Chester's iconic 'Roodee' racecourse – dating back to the 16th century, it's the oldest still in use, before back over the city of Liverpool to land.
