This lovely stone cottage is situated in the peaceful village of Moylegrove between Newport beach and Poppit Sands.
The coastal path can be joined just a mile away at Ceibwr Bay and the coastal bus passes the front door.
Newport and Cardigan are both 5 miles and offer a good variety of shops, eateries, galleries and a theatre/cinema.
This stretch of coastline is simply spectacular and Cardigan Bay is famous for its dolphins and birdlife.
This cottage is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet in a truly delightful setting.
Entrance is into a conservatory which is furnished with comfortable seating and occasional furniture and. There are lovely garden and rural views from this room.
A door leads to the light and airy kitchen/diner which is fitted with a range of units, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, dining table with seating for 6 and a welsh dresser.
The utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer .
The sitting room has an exposed beamed ceiling and an inglenook fireplace with a log burner; perfect for warming up on chilly evenings. There are two sofas, a snuggle chair, coffee table, occasional furniture and wall mounted TV with DVD player.
The snug is a second sitting room perfect for reading/studying/relaxing. It has an electric fire, sofa bed (for occasional use), bookshelves, desk and chair.
There is a downstairs bathroom with a suite of built in shower, bath, WC and hand basin.
Stairs lead to the two bedrooms bedroom 1 has a king size bed, chair, bedside tables, wardrobe with drawers and an EN-suite shower room with a large shower cubicle, WC and hand basin.
bedroom 2 also has a king size bed, chair, bedside tables, dressing table and wardrobe.
All the beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are included in the rental.
Garden and Parking
There is a large lawned garden to the rear of the house which has lovely views over fields to the sea and is surrounded by mature trees and shrubs.
There is an open sided summerhouse and a patio area with a table, chairs and parasol.
There is also an outside WC.
The field beyond the garden belongs to the cottage and when animals are not grazing, you are welcome to use it for ball games or dog walking.
There is off road parking beside the cottage or over the road beside the barns.
The (lockable) barns can be used for storing beach equipment, bikes, canoes etc if you wish.
Other information
There is gas central heating throughout the property, this is included in the rental from May to September and charged for at a flat rate of £35 per week at all other times – Please remember to leave your payment at the property.
A complimentary basket of logs is provided and more are available to purchase locally.
A standard cot, highchair and stairgate are provided on request.
Towels included (not for beach use).
Wifi enabled.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome.
