Ideal for a couple of daredevils who aren't afraid to get wet, get to grips with all the essential paddleboarding basics with tuition from a friendly, experienced instructor. Start with a safety briefing, before learning board handling techniques, self-rescue, foot position, standing up and board control. When you've both gained some confidence, take a short trip heading to either Hammersmith or Richmond (depending on the tide), taking in some of the beautiful sights of the famous waterway.
