As it is also within a stone's throw of Courtenay Park it is an ideal property and location for a young family as well as couples looking for a central base from which to explore the town.  Location Courtenay Street is a narrow road running parallel to Fore Street and the town centre, just a minute or so walk from Salcombe's shops, restaurants and stunning waterfront – small passenger ferries run regularly from Salcombe harbour to the sandy beaches of East Portlemouth and South Sands nearby. The property backs onto Courtenay Park, which has swings, slide and other games for younger children.

KITCHEN /DINING/SITTING ROOM The entrance hallway leads into the open-plan living accommodation with polished oak flooring throughout. The fully fitted kitchen has a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and wine cooler. A large wooden extendable dining table seats eight comfortably. The cosy sitting room has two large sofas, widescreen TV with Freeview, DVD/CD player and feature fireplace with electric stove. To the rear of the cottage (adjacent to the kitchen) is a UTILITY/WET ROOM with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and shower area with power shower. In addition there is a CLOAKROOM with w.c and wash-hand basin.

BEDROOMS Four in total. On the first floor is an en suite double room with king-size bed, bedside units, wall mounted TV and door onto the decked terrace. The en suite has a shower, w.c. and wash-hand basin. There is a further double room at this level also with king-size bed, beside tables, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe and dressing table. On the second floor there are two further bedrooms, each with two single beds and a flatscreen TV to one room. N.B. All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels supplied – tenants need to bring beach and tea towels.

BATH/SHOWER ROOMS In addition to the en suite shower room and wet room (ground floor) there is a family bathroom on the first floor with bath, separate shower, wash-hand basin and w.c. There is also a shower room with w.c. and wash-hand basin adjacent to the second floor bedrooms.

OUTSIDE A passageway at the side of the cottage offers access to the back door and with steps leading upto the lower decked terrace with further steps leading up to a paved terrace with garden furniture, chiminea and Weber barbecue.

PARKING * A seasonal 6-month parking permit is provided for the long-stay car park (usually from Easter but please check dates with our office prior to booking).
